NORWEGIAN FILM INSTITUTE GRANTS FUNDING TO INTERNATIONAL WORK

Imaginær Film has been selected as 10 production companies receiving funding from the Norwegian Film Institute in support of international financing and marketing work. We applied with our documentary project "Adil" and series "Cosmos", and the financing will be of great importance in the months ahead.

 

FRITT ORD GRANTS FUNDING TO «THE ROCKY TWINS»

"The Rocky Twins", our ambitious project about the life of Norwegian twins Paal and Leif Roschberg has received more development funding after receiving funding from The Norwegian Film Institute last week, this time from Norwegian non-profit organization Fritt Ord.

 

THE NFI GRANTS DEVELOPMENT FUNDING FOR «THE ROCKY TWINS»

"The Rocky Twins", our ambitious project about the life of Norwegian twins Paal and Leif Roschberg has received development funding from The Norwegian Film Institute.

Director Kenneth Elvebakk will helm the hybrid documentary project, which will be using a mix of animation and unique archive materials to tell the epic story of the twins' adventurous, but also tragic life story.

MORE FUNDING IN PLACE FOR «COSMOS»

Our tv series «Cosmos» has been granted additional development financing from regional fund Østnorsk Filmsenter, as well as from Viken Filmsenter.


Director Anja Manou Hellem will team up with leading scientists and experts to create a unique animated tv series.

CO-PRODUCTION SUPPORT FOR «RICHARD THE STORK»

Our first international co-production «Richard the Stork and the Mystery of the Great Jewel» has been granted € 300 000,- from the Norwegian Film Institute. The animation film is a co-production between German company Knudsen Pictures, Belgian Walking the Dog and Norwegian Den siste skilling.
